Hybrids

Cars and transportation that are electric/hybrid are helping to protect the environment because they will not pollute the air and they could save you some money because you don’t have to use gas.  Hybrid cars are better forms of transportation because they help reduce the amount of CO2 we release into the environment. Toyota and Honda are some of the companies that are creating some the majority of the hybrids or electronic cars. This is where hybrid cars get in. They're called hybrid because they still use the traditional engine but also includes another source of propulsion or energy. Two types exist - the electric hybrid which uses an electric motor in addition to the diesel or gasoline engine and the hydrogen or water hybrid which uses hydrogen extracted from water and adds it to the fuel-air mixture of the engine. Hybrid cars produce fewer fumes that can cause respiratory ailments like lung cancer. If all cars were hybrids then pollution will greatly be reduced. Hybrid cars also tend to produce less noise pollution as they go. In the case of electric hybrids, they go totally silent when the electric motors are turned on.
